Ghanaian gospel musician Joe Mettle has hinted that he may soon start a podcast, a radio station and a television channel.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Joe Mettle made the statement while discussing his newly established ultra-modern recording facility.
“One of the recording studios, it’s not started so we have created it in a situation where it can be turned into a podcast, it can turned into the studio itself, even the main studio we have set it up to be used for photography sessions; anything media related, we are game. You do TV show recordings, everything,” he noted.
When asked if he would personally want to host a podcast, he told hosts Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio: “Probably. Yes, yes, in future. I think it is in the pipeline. I feel like I just need to put a few things together before I start.”
He added that he also intends to add a radio and television channel to the facility in the near future. “There’s probably a TV or radio. We are looking at all that.”
Joe Mettle officially unveiled the new multi-purpose creative complex for his Reverb Studios at Sowutuom in Accra on 4th October 2025. The state-of-the-art three-storey multimedia and production centre is built to world-class standards for audio-visual production, creative arts, and live event recording.
The main studio can host between 150 and 200 guests, making it ideal for live audience recordings, talk shows and music performances. It also includes three professional audio recording suites and a fully equipped video post-production studio capable of both live and post-live editing.
Speaking at the launch, Joe Mettle said every aspect of Reverb Studios was designed to give clients a unique creative experience. The facility has furnished guest rooms, modern restrooms and fully serviced kitchens on each floor, with contracted chefs to ensure client comfort.
He explained that the studios would be open to everyone, although there would be operational guidelines governing their use.
The studio’s creative creed, “Experience Beyond Production,” reflects its goal to provide not just technical excellence but also a holistic and customer-focused creative experience for artists, content creators, corporate brands and event organisers in Ghana and beyond.
The launch was attended by media representatives, partners and several industry figures including Kuami Eugene, Akesse Brempong, Adjetey Anang, Nii Okai, Cwesi Oteng, Roselyn Felli, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo and Kwesi Ernest.
Joe Mettle, known for hit songs such as Bo Noo Ni, Ye Obua Mi and Kadosh, remains one of Ghana’s most influential gospel musicians. He has won numerous awards, including the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year in 2017, and continues to inspire audiences across Africa and beyond.
