The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has commended the staff of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) for their dedication and professionalism, urging them to continue working with integrity, innovation, and a spirit of service.
During his visit to the Authority on Wednesday, October 15, Mr Jinapor said the NPA plays a crucial role in maintaining the stability and credibility of Ghana’s energy sector.
“This institution, as our country’s regulator of the downstream petroleum sector, is fundamental to the growth and security of Ghana’s energy sector,” he said.
He described the staff’s contribution as indispensable to the nation’s development.
“Every time you enforce a safety standard, monitor a price, or protect a consumer, you are upholding the integrity of our entire energy sector,” he stated.
Encouraging the workforce to stay committed despite challenges, the Minister said, “The road ahead may be challenging, but it is also filled with opportunity. I encourage you to continue giving off your best — your country is counting on you.”
Mr Jinapor assured the Authority of his continuous support, saying, “As Minister for Energy and Green Transition, my doors are always open to you. I am here to support you, not only in policy but in building a regulatory institution that is strong, adaptive and respected both locally and internationally.”
