It was a thrilling showdown on Day 3 of the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) as Krobo Girls’ Presbyterian SHS delivered a fierce performance to outclass St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary and Business SHS, securing their well-deserved place in the one-eighth stage of the competition.
From the very first round, Krobo Girls came in with confidence and speed, answering questions with precision and energy. They took an early lead with 19 points, followed closely by St. Francis with 16 points, while Business SHS struggled to keep up with 2 points. Their fast responses and teamwork drew loud cheers from the audience.

By Round Two, the contest intensified, but Krobo Girls maintained their composure and stretched their lead to 33 points. The auditorium fell silent as their dominance became clear. St. Francis Xavier held on with 19 points, while Business SHS continued the fight but remained at 2 points.
In Round Three, "the Problem of the Day", both Krobo Girls and St. Francis Xavier showed remarkable problem-solving skills. Krobo Girls ended the round with 40 points, while St. Francis Xavier, who answered their question perfectly, followed with 29 points. Business SHS improved slightly, earning 9 points.

The heat rose in Round Four as Krobo Girls continued to dominate with 56 points, leaving St. Francis Xavier at 36 points and Business SHS at 19 points.

By the final round, the atmosphere in the auditorium was electric. Krobo Girls held their ground with a commanding 59 points, St. Francis Xavier Jnr. Sem finished with 42 points, and Business SHS ended with 19 points.
