At least 14 construction workers have been rescued in critical condition following the collapse of a building at the premises of the Architectural Engineering Group at Roman Ridge in Accra earlier today.
The victims, many of whom sustained severe injuries, have been transported to the 37 Military Hospital and Ridge Hospital for urgent medical treatment, according to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

Emergency responders from the GNFS Headquarters, supported by the National Ambulance Service and the Police, have been at the scene since the incident occurred.

Rescue operations are ongoing amid fears that more people may still be trapped beneath the debris.
