Ghana’s beauty market, valued at US$29.3 million in 2023, is expected to grow at a rate of over 12% between 2023 and 2027, reaching US$46.2 million by 2027.
The personal care sector stood at US$70 million (GH₵853 million) in 2023 and is projected to reach US$109 million (GH₵1.4 billion) by 2027, growing at 11.7% annually. On the other hand, the cosmetics market in Ghana is also projected to generate US$226.1 million in 2024, with a steady annual growth rate of 3.81% through 2029.
To this end, the nation will be hosting the 10th edition of the Beauty Cosmetics & Wellness West Africa – Ghana Expo 2026 from 16th to 18th April 2026 at the prestigious Accra International Conference Centre, to consolidate the gains.
The Expo, being organised by Ace Group and Astrovision, in collaboration with Makeup Ghana is expected to deliver an exceptional international platform that celebrates creativity, innovation, and the vibrant potential of the beauty, cosmetics, and wellness industries in West Africa.
This year’s edition promises to be remarkable in both scale and impact. It will host around 145 carefully selected Hosted Buyers from 10 countries, including leading importers, distributors, and major retail chains—ensuring every exhibitor benefits from direct access to valuable business opportunities and meaningful connections.
Over the course of three days, the event will feature more than 400 scheduled B2B meetings between exhibitors and Hosted Buyers, many of which are expected to result in on-site agreements and long-term partnerships. The Beauty Show West Africa Hosted Buyer Programme stands as the largest of its kind in the region, reaffirming our mission to drive genuine business growth and international collaboration.
