A fuel tanker overturned at Teacher Mante in the Eastern Region, attracting large crowds of residents who risked their lives to scoop the leaking fuel.
According to eyewitnesses, the tanker—loaded with petroleum products—veered off the road and toppled onto its side on Thursday, November 6.
Moments after the crash, dozens of locals arrived at the scene with containers, attempting to collect the spilled fuel despite the severe danger of an explosion.
No casualties have been reported so far.
