The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama, has inaugurated a newly constructed traditional council facility at Dodome Avexa in the Ho West District of the Volta Region.
The ceremony was carried out on his behalf by a delegation from the Bank of Ghana.

The project, initiated by the chiefs and people of the area, received support from the bank following the attainment of traditional council status.
According to the traditional leaders, the bank played a significant role in bringing the facility to completion.

The inauguration formed part of the 2025 Agadzi Festival, with a grand durbar held immediately afterwards.
Togbe Kpangbatriku IV, President of the Traditional Council, expressed his gratitude to the local community, partners, and corporate sponsors, highlighting the support of the Bank of Ghana.
“I wish to express my profound appreciation to all citizens, friends of Dodome, and companies who contributed to the construction of our traditional council building, the first project under the Agadziza Fund. The generous support of the Bank of Ghana towards completing this project is also highly acknowledged,” he said.

In addition, Mr Gift Emmanuel Kofi Tsamah (Esq), a native of the area, was credited by the chiefs for spearheading several developmental projects and was honoured with a citation by the traditional council.
The 2025 Agadzi Festival was celebrated under the theme, “Mobilising Resources for Sustainable Development,” and included cultural displays and community engagements alongside the commissioning ceremony.
