Eugene Gyamfi Ansong, a distinguished graduate of the University of Media, Arts and Communication, UniMAC–IJ, earned two major honours at the 1st Session of the 4th UniMAC Congregation, securing his place among the institution’s most celebrated achievers.
He emerged as the Best Graduating Male Student, one of UniMAC’s most competitive awards, sponsored by the Lebanese Embassy, which presented him with a brand-new laptop and accessories.
Eugene also received the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Business and Strategic Communication, a prize sponsored by Prudential Bank, which came with a GH₵5,000 cash reward.

Selected from a graduating cohort of 897 students, Eugene’s performance stood out for its consistency, discipline, and academic strength. He excelled across core courses and demonstrated strong leadership, especially during departmental simulation exercises where his team consistently produced top-tier results.

Lecturers commended his analytical ability and maturity, while colleagues admired his humility and willingness to support others. His final CGPA of 3.87 reflects the sustained effort behind his success.
Speaking after the ceremony, Eugene described the recognition as both humbling and affirming, saying the achievements reinforced his belief that hard work pays off. He also highlighted the “God factor” as central to his academic journey.

His accomplishments underscore UniMAC’s commitment to producing high-performing, industry-ready graduates. Eugene’s story stands as a reminder that perseverance, focus, and faith can turn determination into exceptional success.
