The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has concluded the nationwide exhibition of its voter register ahead of the upcoming presidential primary.
The exercise, which started on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, ended on Monday, 5 January 2026, and was carried out across all 276 constituencies.
The Presidential Elections Committee (PEC) said the exhibition aimed to ensure accuracy and transparency in the party’s internal electoral process by allowing delegates and stakeholders to verify their details.
In a statement signed by PEC Secretary William Yamoah, the Committee noted that delegates had the opportunity to confirm their records in their constituencies and regions.
Party members were urged to report any errors, such as omissions, misspellings, or incorrect photographs, to guarantee that the final register would be credible and error-free ahead of voting.
Aspirants were also encouraged to appoint representatives to observe the process at constituency level to strengthen transparency.
The NPP presidential primary, scheduled for Saturday, January 31, will feature five aspirants: Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr Bryan Acheampong, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, and former General Secretary Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
With the exhibition now concluded, the PEC is expected to finalise the voter register that will be used by delegates during the presidential primary, ensuring all eligible members can participate in the party’s selection process.
