AFCON 2025 has delivered thrilling football, standout performances and most notably, the emergence of some exciting young talents.
These rising stars have stepped onto Africa’s biggest stage and proved they belong among the continent’s finest.
Here are five youngsters who have impressed at the tournament.
1. Christian Kofane (Cameroon)

At just 19 years old, Christian Kofane has been one of the tournament’s biggest revelations.
The Cameroonian striker has scored two goals in three starts, displaying maturity beyond his age with his intelligent movement, sharp finishing and fearless attacking play. Kofane’s performances have marked him out as one of Africa’s most exciting young forwards to watch.

4. Christ Inao Oulai (Ivory Coast)

Christ Inao Oulai has emerged as an important young figure for the Elephants at AFCON 2025.
