A man believed to be in his late 50s has died after collapsing in a public toilet in Juaboso, Western North Region, on Thursday, January 15.
The incident caused panic among residents and facility users, who rushed to the scene after noticing the man had slumped and was unresponsive. Despite immediate attention, he was pronounced dead at the location.
Police were called to the scene, and the deceased’s body has since been transported to the Juaboso Government Hospital mortuary, where it is being held pending further investigations.

The Juaboso District Police have confirmed that efforts are ongoing to identify the man’s family. An official probe has also been launched to determine the cause of death.
Authorities have urged the public to remain calm while investigations continue and assured that all necessary steps are being taken to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
