Platinum Impex, operating under the brand Sigma Appliances, has reached a significant milestone in its commitment to “powering growth together” by distributing more than GH¢1,000,000 in cash rebates to its wholesale partners.
The rewards were issued under the company’s flagship loyalty programme, the Platinum Partner Programme.
Launched in January 2025, the programme was designed to move beyond traditional supplier-buyer relationships. Operating on a points-based system, it empowers dealers to determine their own rewards based on their sales volume; dealers earn one Platinum Point for every GH¢100 spent. The rebates have been credited to dealer accounts as credit notes, directly offsetting their procurement costs for 2026.
“When we introduced this programme, we promised our partners that their hard work would translate into measurable business benefits,” said Marie D. Sam, Marketing Manager at Platinum Impex. “Seeing approximately GH¢1 million reinvested into our dealers' businesses is a proud moment for us. It proves that when our partners grow, Sigma Appliances grows. This GHS 1 million payout is a statement of intent. It shows we are poised to compete at the highest level by ensuring our success and our dealers' success are inseparable. We are steadily positioning Sigma as the brand of choice for the modern Ghanaian home.”
The programme features six reward tiers, ranging from Amber to Platinum, with rebates of up to 1% on total annual turnover. To qualify, dealers were required to reach a minimum threshold of 5,000 points.
Ahmad Taan, General Manager of Platinum Impex, emphasised the strategic importance of the initiative:
“I extend my warmest congratulations to the dealers who redeemed their rebates for 2025. Your dedication is truly paying off. To our partners who didn’t quite hit the target this time, I want to encourage you to keep pushing; we are here to support you in making 2026 your year of rewards. Our dealers are the frontline of our brand. By providing these tangible incentives, we are ensuring they have the liquidity and support needed to scale their operations. We are building a winning team. As we often say in the field, 'Sigma Dier no size!'—the growth we are seeing is truly unmatched.”
As the 2026 cycle begins, Platinum Impex invites dealers to be part of a brand set to disrupt the status quo and encourages all appliance dealers across Ghana to take advantage of the program. With new product lines like the Sigma Luxe AC and ongoing CSR initiatives like Sigma for TVET, the company is focused on deepening its footprint across all sixteen regions of Ghana.
