A fire outbreak at a 10-room compound house in Gumani, Northern Region, was prevented from causing widespread destruction thanks to the swift intervention of firefighters.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, causing panic among residents. While one room was damaged, firefighters successfully protected the remaining nine rooms from the flames.

The alarm was raised at around 4:18 p.m., prompting an emergency response. Firefighters arrived within minutes and worked diligently to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to adjoining rooms.

The blaze was eventually brought under control and fully extinguished. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
