The internet’s latest culinary controversy has a new chapter, courtesy of global streamer Speed.
During his much-publicised Africa tour stop in Ghana, where he was honored with a traditional naming ceremony, Speed sampled the nation’s famed Jollof rice.
Despite the warm hospitality and rich cultural immersion, the streamer delivered a verdict that is sure to fan the flames of a long-standing regional debate.

After tasting the Ghanaian version of the beloved dish, Speed declared his preference for its West African counterpart, Nigerian Jollof.

The lighthearted moment, captured during a livestream, quickly ignited playful reactions online from fans on social media.
Speed’s choice comes after an otherwise respectful visit to Ghana, where he was embraced by local chiefs and given the name Barima Kofi Akuffo.
