Ghana international Evelyn Badu has signed for Canadian Northern Super League side Montreal Roses in a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old seals the move to America, signing a two-year deal which will see her stay at the club until 2028.
Badu joins from the Norwegian side, Molde FK, where she has been for the last two years.
"Evelyn has a rare combination of technical qualities and high-level experience," said Marinette Pichon, Sporting Director of the Roses.
"She has shone on the African continent, she has played in demanding European leagues, and she knows how to score in crucial moments. She is an intelligent player who reads the game, creates chances and is able to find the right space for the last pass or finish with precision. She will bring an extra dimension to our attack and embody the winning mentality that we want to develop."
On the player's path, the Ghanaian midfielder added, "Joining the Montreal Roses is an opportunity I've been waiting for. Professional women's soccer in North America is experiencing tremendous growth, and the Northern Super League is part of that movement.
"Montreal is building something ambitious, and I want to be a part of it. I look forward to contributing on the field and helping this team reach new heights."
On the international stage, Badu has represented Ghana in major African competitions, including the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Black Queens won the bronze medal.
She has 17 caps and 10 career goals with her national team.
