Former flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, has expressed gratitude to supporters, party delegates, and Ghanaians following the party’s January 31 presidential primaries.
In a thank-you message shared via video on Saturday, February 14, Mr Agyapong acknowledged the support he received throughout his campaign and described it as deeply humbling.
“NPP delegates and Ghanaians, greetings to you all. I want to say a big thank you to all of you for supporting me, especially Team Ken. I don’t know what to say to you. The love you’ve shown me over the years, I want to say thank you,” he stated.
He extended appreciation not only to those who voted for him but also to delegates who made a different choice, stressing that he respects the democratic process within the party.
“Delegates, whether you voted for me or not, I still appreciate your opinion. I say thank you,” he said.
Mr Agyapong also conveyed gratitude on behalf of his family, assuring supporters that their commitment and loyalty would not be forgotten.
“With my family, we all appreciate what you have done. We will never forget you,” he added.
Addressing the broader Ghanaian public, he thanked those who believed in his vision and backed his campaign message.
“Ghanaians, those who believed in my vision, I say thank you to you all and God bless all of us,” he added.
