President John Dramani Mahama inspected an 80-kilometre Jinijini–Sampa Road in Berekum West in the Bono region, the Presidency has disclosed, as part of his ongoing “Resetting Ghana Tour.”
During the visit on Wednesday, March 18, the President engaged with local chiefs, community leaders, and residents to obtain first-hand feedback on the progress of infrastructure projects and their impact on surrounding communities.

Highlighting the critical role of well-maintained road networks, President Mahama stressed that quality infrastructure is essential for boosting trade, enhancing mobility, and driving economic development across the region.

He further underscored the government’s ongoing efforts to maintain macroeconomic stability, noting that sound economic management remains vital for sustaining growth and improving livelihoods nationwide.

According to the presidency in a Facebook post, the inspection is part of President Mahama’s broader strategy to ensure that key development projects are executed efficiently while responding directly to the needs and concerns of citizens across Ghana’s regions.

Through such engagements, the President aims to monitor project implementation closely, strengthen community participation in development planning, and reaffirm the administration’s commitment to inclusive, citizen-focused governance, the presidency noted.
