Into the Unknown Tours is preparing for a ladies’ tour experience to Mount Afadjato in the Volta Region.
The tour is scheduled to take place on April 4, 2026.
Afadjato is the highest mountain in Ghana, standing at about 885 metres (2,904 feet) above sea level. It is located in the Volta Region, near the villages of Liati Wote and Gbledi, close to the border with Togo.
It forms part of the Agumatsa Range, a chain of mountains running along the Ghana–Togo border.
In the past, Into the Unknown Tours has organised trips to Wli Waterfalls, Nzulezu Stilt Village Cultural Experience, Boti Falls Hiking and Waterfall Tour, Akropong Camping Weekends, and Cape Coast Castle Historical Tours.
According to Derrick Boateng, Chief Executive Officer and senior tour operator at Into the Unknown Tours, this trip is an opportunity to experience the highest mountain in Ghana.
He added that the company’s mission has always been to showcase the very best of Ghana, including its culture, people, food and hidden gems.
Derrick said Into the Unknown Tours is dedicated to boosting domestic tourism in Ghana.
