Rescue operations have intensified into the night following the collapse of a four-storey building at Accra New Town.
Emergency teams racing against time to reach victims believed to be trapped beneath the debris.
The incident, which occurred earlier today, has drawn a large-scale response from the Ghana Police Service, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), and the Ghana National Fire Service, who have now fully taken control of the scene.

So far, 10 people have been rescued from the rubble according to NADMO, as search efforts continue under challenging conditions.
Authorities are yet to confirm the total number of individuals trapped or injured.
As darkness falls, floodlights and rescue equipment have been deployed to aid ongoing operations.
Emergency personnel, supported by local volunteers, are working tirelessly to clear debris in hopes of reaching survivors.

The collapsed structure is believed to be an uncompleted building located within the premises of the Accra New Town Experimental Basic School, a site also used by Christian worshippers on Sundays.
Earlier in the day, residents and bystanders were seen using bare hands and simple tools to assist in rescue efforts before emergency teams arrived.
Security has since been tightened around the area to prevent further risk, while anxious onlookers continue to gather, hoping for more survivors to be pulled from the rubble.
Rescue teams say operations will continue through the night as they work to save lives.
This is a developing story.
