The West African Examinations Council has announced the release of provisional results for candidates who sat the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, First Series.
Candidates can access their results online through the official WAEC Ghana portal at https://ghana.waecdirect.org.
A WAEC results voucher is required to view the official results. The voucher can be purchased by dialing *713*3998# or by visiting https://buycheckercodes.com.gh.
To check the results on a phone, candidates should:
- Open the web browser on your phone (e.g., Chrome or Safari) and visit the WASSCE result checking portal: https://ghana.waecdirect.org.
- Enter your Index Number in the designated field.
- Select the Examination Type (e.g., WASSCE Private).
- Choose the Examination Year (e.g., 2026).
- Enter the Serial Number found on your Result Voucher.
- Input the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your Result Voucher (e.g., 012345678912).
- Verify that your Index Number and Examination Year are correct.
- Click on the Submit button to proceed.
- Agree to the consent agreement by clicking "Agree".
- Wait for your Nov/Dec or WASSCE for Private results to appear in the pop-up window.
WAEC has also cautioned candidates and the public to be wary of fraudsters who claim they can upgrade results for a fee.
The Council says candidates should rely only on official channels when checking their results.
With the online process now available, private candidates can quickly access their 2026 WASSCE results from their phones using the official steps provided by WAEC.
