President John Dramani Mahama has signed the new Ghana Investment Promotion Authority (GIPA) Act into law, replacing the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Act as part of efforts to create a more competitive investment environment.

Government says the legislation is designed to strengthen Ghana’s ability to attract both domestic and foreign investment by simplifying regulatory processes, reducing bureaucratic bottlenecks and improving the ease of doing business.
