MTN Ghana is expected to extend its earnings into the second-half of 2026 on the back of a strong earnings growth outlook supported by its data and fintech businesses.
According to analysis by Databank Research, the management's elevated capital expenditure programme, largely directed towards network modernisation, additional spectrum deployment and capacity expansion, should improve network quality and support continued growth in high-value data subscribers amid rising digital adoption.
“We also expect the merger of MobileMoney Limited and MobileMoney Fintech Limited to accelerate product innovation and deepen ecosystem integration, strengthening fee income generation while improving operational efficiency”, it mentioned
It believes MTN Ghana remains well positioned to deliver another period of robust gains, adding, its defensive earnings profile, strong cash generation and dividend credentials should continue to underpin investor appetite and support further re-rating despite its strong year-to-date performance of 66.67%.

The share price of MTN Ghana is presently going for GH₵ 6.69.
Its year-to-date return stands at 59.3%.
MTN Ghana recorded a profit before tax of GH¢7.4 billion in the first-half of 2026.
This was an increase of 44.5% over the GH¢5.1 billion posted in the first half of 2025.
Service revenue also reached GH¢14.9 billion from GH¢11.3 billion recorded last year, representing a 32.3 % growth.
