Hajia Joyce Zeynab Mahama, the newly elected Deputy National Women's Organiser of the NDC, has stressed her new team's preparedness to dynamically help innovate the party's structures.
She said the team has all the qualities and experience to deliver what the party is looking for, especially concerning women and the youth.
Speaking to the Times in an interview in Accra, Hajia Mahama pointed out that the people who voted the team into office did not make any mistake. "They believe in our capabilities and are sure that we shall give them the best package that the party deserves," she said.
She told the Times that women in the party would have to come together, "that is a priority, and with God's help, we shall change lives."
Hajia Mahama pointed out that over 75 per cent of votes in the party came from women and the youth, adding that the new administration would work towards enhancing the lot of women and the youth through dynamic programmes in collaboration with the government.
"We shall exploit all avenues and make good use of opportunities given us", he said, adding that women in the party must have confidence in the team and help it to deliver the goods.
She agreed with Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary of the party who stated that office accommodation would be secured for the women's wing in all constituencies across the country and said it would go a long way to help in the mobilisation of women at the grassroots.
Hajia Mahama saw her election as the National Deputy Women's Organiser as a big challenge to her to prove her worth to the party and Ghana as a whole.
She urged all Ghanaians to support the party and help bring its laudable programmes to their doorsteps to enhance their living standards.
