Speaking to the GNA in at Karaga on Friday said they are making sustainable income to support themselves and their families through the repairs.
Miss Yahaya said the job is a life line and has made she and her colleagues role models in their various communities.
Mr Mohammed Ukasha Project Officer of NORSAAC, in the Karaga/Gushegu Zonal Area explained that the girls were part of a Sustainable Livelihood Initiative Project been funded by Empower, a US based Organisation in the area.
He said the initiative, which is being implemented by NORSAAC, a gender based advocacy NGO in Tamale seeks to equip young people with effective and efficient entrepreneurial skills to be self-employed and economically stable.
