The Adansi North District Chief Executive, Mr Peter Kwabena Ameyaw, has expressed appreciation for the spirit of patriotism and dedication to duty of workers in the area that had contributed to the progress achieved in the new district.
He appealed to them to sustain that spirit to help the district assembly to implement its development agenda.
Mr Ameyaw told workers that working in a new district was quite challenging but was satisfied with the level of commitment the staff of the assembly had demonstrated so far.
He said: "My administration will always recognize hard work, loyalty and dedication to duty."
The DCE said the development of the district was the responsibility of all workers including teachers, nurses, commercial drivers, farmers and others and appealed to all and sundry to discharge their duties in a manner that would help facilitate the development of the area.
While congratulating workers on the celebration of the May Day, Mr Ameyaw said the government was aware of the plight of workers and would do everything possible to address them.
Mr Ameyaw advised against all forms of industrial unrest by workers in the country.
