Mantrac Ghana Limited, the sole authorized dealer of Caterpillar (CAT) products in Ghana, has held a power solution seminar in Accra to update its customers, introduce businesses to new technologies and also address their concerns.
The one-day seminar saw customers drawn from various sectors such as mining, banking, telecommunication, public service and many more.
The Managing Director of Mantrac Ghana, Mr. Emad Adeeb, in a speech read on his behalf said the company has over the decades, supplied and supported major power plants and projects with its reliable CAT-branded diesel power generating sets with a customized after sales support to reduce down times in power supply.
“This year is no exception we have supplied various sets from 12.5kva up to bigger projects like the 5.8 MW generator installed recently for Persus Mining …helping business run non-stop thereby improving production and economic growth.”
Mr Adeeb said the company in collaboration with Stanbic Bank is providing customized payment options to customers. This eases the burdens of having to make outright payment before one owns the CAT diesel powered generator.
Head of Marketing & Strategic Planning at Mantrac Ghana Mr. Daniel Pabby said Mantrac is stepping up its leadership in power generation and currently planning to roll out Mantrac DC generators.
“This is the best in class of fuel efficient solution. This solution saves fuel, oil and reduces wear and tear with fewer emissions to the environment compared with fixed speed AC gensets.
Key advantages specific to telecommunication application is its ability to save 30-50% on fuel, 30% decrease in size of alternator and reduction in Capex life cycle as well as maintenance cost.
Most customers indicated their satisfaction with the platform created to voice out their concerns especially during this critical period where energy issues have become a national issue and praised Mantrac Ghana for the initiative.
