The days of having to fill out a tall list of forms to have your loan application processed are over – at least for existing and potential customers of financial services company, Afb Ghana Plc.

This is because the financial company has introduced a loan application system dubbed “Paperless Salary Loan” that allows its customers to simply use their mobile phones to access collateral-free loans anywhere and anytime.

Speaking at the launch, Managing Director Arnold Parker said the product is not only to make loan application for its customers easier, but also to enhance financial inclusion in the country.

“We want to make real our set objectives of branchless banking and do not want to belabour our customers with having to travel long distances before they get to the nearest branch to apply for a loan so we have put this in place and we are sure to make applying for a loan even much faster, easier, for our prospective and existing customers.”

He added, “We want our customers to have a unique and delightsome experience in our service delivery in the way that no other institution does. This new sales channel gives them just that.”

Mr. Parker indicated that afb-Ghana is a company that is totally devoted to financial inclusion hence, want each and everyone who can afford a financial service to be able to have his/her application completed in not more than 3 to 4 minutes.

“The rest would then be taken over by us and completed so in a matter of minutes we are actually done with the entire process to do all the work online and by the time we are giving you a call, we are actually inviting you to our branch to pick up your funds or to give you our final credit decision,” he stressed.

The system currently, works on MTN, Vodafon, Airtel and Tigo and customers can access up to 15 thousand Cedis on their mobile phones.
