Mr. Musah Superior, a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a member of the party's UK branch has donated a number of items to the Tamale central constituency of the party to enhance its work.
The items valued over GHC 2723.00 include; a desk top computer, colour printer, photo copier, scanner, 50 plastic chairs, stationery, 30 NPP membership cards and copies of the party's constitution.
Mr. Akbar Khomeini, Communication Director of the Tamale Central Mosque, presented the items and also read a statement on behalf of Mr. Superior to the constituency executives.
Mr. Superior hoped the items would facilitate work at the constituency office and thereby assist the constituency executives, electoral area coordinators and polling station executives to efficiently run the affairs of the office as the Party embarks on a massive membership drive.
He urged the constituency executives to register about 300 unregistered members and issue them with cards at no cost.
Mr. Superior said "if you and other ordinary members consistently paid their dues, you would be able to run the affairs of the constituency offices without relaying on the regional and national executives."Source: GNA
