It was all fun and joy on Easter Monday when families trooped to the Aviation Social Centre for the first edition of ‘Easter Family Jamboree’.
The event organised by Orange Africa, in collaboration with Myjoyonline.com, was aimed at bringing families together and offering them an alternative means of entertainment from the regular activities that mark Easter celebrations.
Kids were treated to exciting fun activities like; face painting, bouncing castles, musical chairs, video games, basketball, a memorable time with their favourite cartoon characters Bugs Bunny, Mickey and Mini Mouse, Daffy Duck and many others.
There were exciting performances from Irene Logan and upcoming music trio, Footprints with occasional comedy from Uncle George of the Kyekyekule fame.
Kids who did well in some of the fun activities were given exciting prizes and hampers from sponsors of the event.
The organisers, after the event, were excited about the patronage and promised a better show next year. They mentioned advertising as one of the challenges they faced prior to the event.
Patrons of the event were pleased, describing the event as a good concept and urged organisers to stage another one in the coming year. They also advised them to do more publicity to attract more families.
Easter Family Jamboree was partnered by Myjoyonline.com with support from Aviation Social Centre, Coca Cola, Havit PR, Excelsis Ghana and Midas Insurance.
