Nana Akufo-Addo's office has announced he will hold a media interaction for invited journalists at his residence in Nima, Accra on Wednesday, April 21, at 10.30am.
A statement by his office quotes Dominic Nitiwul, MP for Bimbilla and a leading member of Nana’s campaign team, dubbed Victory-2012 Team as saying that “During his interaction with the media this Wednesday, Nana will give a brief speech on his political future and the future direction of Ghana”.
“He will use this meeting with journalists to announce officially to the nation his decision to contest for the presidential nomination of the New Patriotic Party on August 7, 2010 and ultimately for the presidency of the Republic in Election 2012”.
On the same day, Nana Akufo-Addo will deliver a speech at the Mensah Sarbah Hall, University of Ghana, Legon, at 6pm, which will focus on education, job creation and the future of the Ghanaian youth.
After Wednesday’s programme, Nana Akufo-Addo will begin his national campaign tour.
