The president John Mills has terminated with immediate effect the appointment of one Metropolitan Chief Executive and two District Chief Executives.A statement from the presidency named the sacked MCE and DCEs as Mahama Adama Welvis Hudu, MCE for Yendi, Hajia Mavis Mariga Bawa, DCE for Bunkpurugu Yonyoo and DCE for Karaga, Alhaji Mohammadou Sando. No reasons were assigned for their dismissal. The statement noted the Northern Regional Minister will take temporary charge of the districts until further notice.Mahama Adama was recently forced to embark on a self imposed exile by supporters of the ruling party who accused him of corruption. They threatened to kill him if the president still maintain him at post.It is not yet certain, if his dismissal has any linkage with the threats by the party foot-soldiersSource: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
