Welcome here to the Legon Botannical gardens for the 2015 edition of Joy Family Party in the Park

It cannot be overstressed that the great threat of the cosmopolitan family is –stress. Of course, the popular recommendation to this malady in all cultures is good old relaxation.
And there is no patch of earth in Ghana capable of the fullest form of family relaxation than Joy FM Family Party in the Park. The numbers here is sufficient evidence.
The Joy FM crew of your favourite presenters are here: The veteran Doreen Andoh, your reliable source of authentic British accent Kofi Laing, Rythms A-Z presenter Mamavi, Drive Time host Lexis Bill, Blei is here too.
It’s a child’s sanctuary here with all the assorted games and a parent’s paradise knowing this is fun without the fear of bruises. Nobody gets hurt here. Except the family that stayed at home and reading this live update. Missing the fun should hurt.

Remember this picture for Father's Day - there are a good number of fathers here.

It's funny how some kids call their parents. One kid is looking for his father- gues what he calls his dad? Dada Kay! Doreen Andoh, the presenter on duty is in stiches.
It is the ultimate family gathering here. A genuine sense of fun for mothers and fathers. Some are chasing their kids around here. Parents are watching their kids try climbing ballon walls. And there is a mother and child dancing competition going down here. Where in Ghana can you really get an atmosphere like this?
The fathers are running away from the dance competition. The mothers won't leave without a dance.

A promising dance competition between husbands and wives has just ended. Families are filing out of the Legon Botannical Garden. Night is falling. Several videos of the dance competition are on facebook. Like Joy 99.7 facebook page and watch what you missed.
