Security has been stepped up around Michael Jackson’s tomb in California after vandals defaced the star's resting place with ink.
The King of Pop was interred at the Forest Lawn Cemetery memorial in Glendale, California following his death last year.
Fans from around the world have flocked to pay their respects ever since.
But some mourners have taken to writing tributes, including 'Miss you sweet angel' and 'Keep the dream alive'.
Officials at Forest Lawn are fuming about the markings, because many were made using permanent ink.
A representative for the site told TMZ.com, "Activity such as this is a prime example why we are evaluating the level of access to the various entrances of the Great Mausoleum."
It isn't the first time overeager fans have caused a headache at the star-studded cemetery.
In May security was increased when the tomb of late Hollywood legend Clark Gable was found covered in lipstick marks.
