The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asante-Akim South, Mr De-graft Fokuo, has urged the youth of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to live above reproach and help make the party more attractive to voters.
He said they should avoid acts of lawlessness that are likely to create image problems for the party.
“You must always use dialogue and the internal party conflict resolution mechanisms to get your grievances addressed and not threats and violence,” he encouraged.
Mr Fokuo was addressing members of the Bompata Ward of the NDC after a four-hour clean-up exercise at the Bompata Health Centre.
He described as disturbing the reported violent acts perpetrated by some of the party’s youth across the country, saying this must end.
The DCE said it should not be lost on them that nobody was above the law and for that matter they could not misconduct themselves just because their party was in power.
Mr Kofi Asante Atobrah, the Ward Chairman, said they were determined to assist to improve on the area’s environmental sanitation to prevent diseases.
