But what else do you do when it’s no other than Abrantie Amakye Dede (Serious) and his Apollo High Kings dishing out hot high-life tunes? Of course you dance!
And so did Vice President John Dramani Mahama, who yielded to the inviting tunes to dance the night away as Ghanaian journalists took stock of their trade and celebrated the year’s achievers.
The occasion was the 15th Ghana Journalists Awards Night under the theme: “Unethical Journalism and Corruption in the Media - A Danger to Democracy” at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.
Taking on the Vice President is Mrs Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, a former president of the Ghana Journalists Association. Others on the floor included GJA president Ransford Tetteh and Ambassador Kabral Blay Amihere, also a former GJA president and Information Minister, John Akologu Tia.
