The Information Services Department (ISD) has begun a two-week “Terror Alert” campaign across the Volta Region in respect of recent reports of possible terrorist attacks on Ghana.
The terror alert crusade is being done alongside education campaign on the national budget.
Five Mobile Cinema vans have been deployed to all districts in the Region to sensitize the public on the need to report “strange people and characters to the police and traditional rulers.”
A press release signed by Mr Cephas Aggor, Regional Information Officer, said the teams would hold public forums and show audio visuals to help the public appreciate the contents of the national budget.
It called for support from municipal and district assemblies for an effective and smooth campaign.
