Dr Isaac Mando Botchey, Proprietor and Director of Klimovic Memorial Hospital at Winneba in the Central Region, has commended the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) for its efforts at resolving some of the teething problems between the scheme and service providers.
Dr Botchey who is also the medical officer in charge of the hospital, made the commendation at a special end-of-year get-together organized by the management for staff and friends of the hospital.
“Of late, payment to service providers has been faster than the previous years”, he noted.
The Medical Officer was full of praise for the performance of the staff in the course of the year and advised them to show more love, patience and respect to the sick who called at the hospital for treatment, and to ensure that the good name and reputation of Klimovic Hospital was maintained.
The best worker award went to Madam Joana Winful who received a cash prize and household items.
In her acceptance speech, Madam Winful expressed gratitude to the management and said the success she had achieved was not by her effort alone, but through the collective collaboration of all the staff.
She urged the staff to continue to work in unity, love and peace, while giving special attention to patients who called at the hospital.
