Uganda coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic believes the Black Stars are still favourites for a World Cup berth in Group E despite dropping two points at home to his side.
The Serbian has now gone three matches unbeaten against the Black Stars which stretches back to 2014.
Despite coming unscathed for a second visit to Ghana, the Serbian is confident Ghana still have the right players to achieve their World Cup target.
"For me personally with all due respect to Egypt, Ghana are still favourites of this group, you just saw the performance, they just didn’t score but played very well,’ he said
‘Please have mercy on them, they are coming from different time zones and it wasn’t easy for them to play in this hostile and hot weather."
‘So for me Ghana are still favourites but they need to pick up from the scratch and work very hard because it will not be easy to go to Egypt in November."
The Serbian qualified Uganda for their first AFCON in 39 years.
