Ashanti Gold manager Bashiru Hayford has applied for the vacant top job at Kenyan side AC Leopards.
AC Leopards are in search of a substantive coach after parting company with Ivan Jacky Minnaert following a spate of poor results.
According to reports in the local media former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko gaffer David Duncan is among the shortlisted plus highly fancied to take over the reins of the club.
However, if Duncan misses out, another Ghanaian in the person of Bashiru Hayford, a two time Ghana Premier League champion could be considered.

‘’However, he[friend] has my CV and has applied on my behalf. It’s not only Kenya, he’s sent my CV to clubs in Tanzania, Congo, Morocco and others,’’
