WBO Africa, WBO Oriental and WBC featherweight Youth World Champion Isaac Dogboe (15-0, 9 KO’s) has been awarded as the WBO African Boxer of the Year 2016.
The ceremony which was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico was the 29th WBO Convention to award deserving boxers throughout the year.
The boxer was adjudged the Most Outstanding African boxer and claimed the award.
Dogboe’s mission at the ongoing convention was also aimed at meeting WBO executives regarding his readiness to challenge Oscar Valdez who will be defending his WBO featherweight belt against Hiroshige Osawa.
Dogboe will fight for the fourth time this year on November 26th against a Russian opponent yet to be named.
