The Bolgatanga hospital has recorded five CSM related deaths from January.
It brings to nineteen, the total number of cases of CSM recorded at the Upper East hospital from the beginning of this year.
Hospital authorities however say there is no outbreak and are advising residents to seek early treatment and undergo vaccination.
The Clinical Coordinator at the Bolga hospital, Dr. Samuel Aborah said there was no cause for alarm.
He said the disease was being contained.
