Former Black Stars captain, C.K Akonnor has urged the management team of the senior national team to quickly resolve their dispute with in-form Las Palmas attacking midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Boateng has made known his desire to return to the national team in a bid to make a third World Cup appearance and for Akonnor, his return could be great news for Ghana
“For me it’s good news but I believe he knows there are problems pending but I will urge the management team to settle that dispute with Kevin.
“We need quality and experienced players to play for the national team and without doubt, Kevin is one of them.”
“For me, Muntari’s issue was obvious and he wrote a letter of apology but with Kevin, nobody knows about the issue so if he comes back to the team, it will bring back the good spirit and I know the management will be happy to have him back.
“We all know there the commissioners recommended he shouldn’t be given the chance to play for the country again but the question is do we need him at the moment? For me he will be good addition to the team.”
It is rumored he could be called up for the Ghana game against Egypt.
