Losing weight wasn't her priority after giving birth to twins, but the singer admits breastfeeding helped her shed the pounds.
Have you seen the post-baby body on Celine Dion?
Just five months after giving birth to twins, the singer is back in tip-top shape. So, what's her secret to shedding the pregnancy weight? Breastfeeding and good genes, she says.
"You get busy with twins and you feed them so they help you to recover very fast," Dion, 42, told Canada's Etalk. "So I helped them help me."
But Dion, who is back to performing at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas (pictured here on March 15), says getting back into her pre-pregnancy duds was never a priority.
"It's not important. I'm not a model," said Dion. "I'm not there to wear a size 2 or 0 or 4. I'm going to find the dress that's going to fit the body at the time. But it happened to be that the weight loss (happened) very rapidly. And genetically, I'm very lucky, too."
After six attempts of IVF treatments, Dion finally delivered two healthy baby boys, Eddy and Nelson, on Oct. 23. Now the singer is reveling in her family life with the babies, her husband Rene Angelil and their eldest son, Rene Charles, 10.
"There's a lot to do and lots of fun," Dion says of her home life. "RC's in a baseball league and there was a ceremony and he said, 'Papa, do you think it's possible for Eminem to come and sing the national anthem. And Rene looked at him and says, 'Oh my god. You can tell this kid has traveled around the world...No, we can't get Eminem to sing the national anthem.'"
