A worker at the Delta Agro Limited, a Lebanese Company at the Tema Industrial Area has been ground by a machine he was working with. The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, June 10.
According to an eye witness, named only as Ntow, who also works at the company, he and other colleagues heard loud shouts at their machine production room and when he went to check, he saw the worker, (name withheld) lying on the floor with his intestines gushing out and a completely severed arm.
Ntow said the victim's hand got caught by the rollers of the machine which pulled and chopping him into pieces.
He said the hand was still stuck in the machine while medical personnel were yet to arrive at the scene.
The witness told Adom FM a policeman came to the scene but left in shock.
