WBC international silver welterweight champion Frederick Lawson (25-1, 22 KO’s) has dismissed calls by compatriot Raymond Narh (26-6, 21 KO’s) for a rematch between the pair.
The duo fought in California three years ago with Lawson claiming a unanimous victory over Raymond Narh in a 99-89, 95-93, 99-89 decision on all three scorecards.
29 months down the line, and Raymond Narh is still unhappy with the defeat and has called out the WBC welterweight champion for a rematch.
But Fredrick Lawson, who defeated Jamaica’s Sakima Mullings to win the vacant WBC international silver welterweight belt a fortnight ago, has ruled out the match indicating he does not another bout with Raymond Narh.
“I don’t even think of him, I will not fight him,” Lawson is quoted by Sportsnetghana.com.
“I don’t need him, if I want to fight him I will but he is not important to me. I’m targeting the world ranked boxers not him.”
