Member of Parliament for North-Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa says the current strife in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not lead to an implosion.
He is convinced the party would soon put their issues behind them and "it would not get any worse that it currently is".
Some members of the NDC have in recent times been pointing accusing fingers at each other for contributing to the party’s defeat in the 2016 elections.
The National Organiser of the party, Kofi Adams has signaled that some members are going to be sanctioned if they continue their current in fighting.
The committee set up by the party, led by former Finance Minister, Dr. Kwesi Botchwey, to investigate its massive loss has called for a ceasefire among party members as it continues its work.
Some political pundits have predicted doom for the party if the current tussle continues.

But speaking on Joy FM/MultiTV's news analysis show Newsfile on Saturday, the former deputy education minister disagreed saying "we would put our house in order".
"We would put our house in order, we would reflect, review, revitalise, reorganise and we shall recapture the power in 2020. At this point what we need is a truce, and I want to appeal to every member to stop and reflect," he said.
He supported Mr Adams position of sanctioning those found culpable explaining that the party's National Executive Committee was clear when the Kwesi Botchwey Committee was set up where aggrieved members should channel their concerns.
"NEC said that everybody should channel their concerns, strategies, assessment and review to the Committee," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Attorney General-designate, Joseph Kpemka, said the NDC was only keeping up appearances by making Ghanaians believe it was united before its electoral defeat.
