Your Excellency,
The entire membership of NDC Canada Chapter extends to your Excellency warm congratulations on your re-election as the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2012 general elections.
Your resounding victory in the presidential primaries demonstrates the confidence which membership of our great party the NDC and the people of Ghana have reposed in your foresighted, visionary and able leadership.
We pay tribute to the courage, boldness and dignity of the NDC delegates and the entire membership of the NDC in putting all the political bickering behind them and rallying round the call for unity of the NDC to renew and rebuild our Better Ghana Agenda.
The peaceful elections in Sunyani have reinforced the foundations on which modern Ghana has been anchored by H.E. President J.J. Rawlings, underpinned by the rule of law, party and national cohesion and commitment to a free, progressive and united Ghana.
Ghana’s recovery and reconstruction under your able leadership is evident in the vibrant and growing economy, expansion of democratic processes and the building of infrastructure across the nation.
Indeed our nation has been re-awakened from the broken economy, impunity, armed robbery, cocaine here, cocaine and cocaine everywhere we inherited in January 2009 after 8 years of irresponsible and reckless spending of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
NDC Canada congratulates Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings for the gallant role she played in re-awakening our party and bringing us to terms with certain things we have all either taken for granted or seemed to have ignored completely.
NDC Canada wishes to call on all NDC members to leave the events of the Presidential primaries behind them, come together in unity and unequivocally resolve to give Mr. William Nana Kofi Akufo-Addo a resounding beating and permanent retirement from active politics in election 2012. Ghana is a Better place without a vision of “All Die Be Die”.
We ask the good people of Ghana to resolve to take this country forward towards a Better Ghana by consolidating the gains of democratic, economic and good governance made in the last two and half years under the leadership of President John Atta Mills, and resolve to never again step backwards by leaving the destiny of this great nation we call Ghana in the hands of selfish politicians whose only vision is property owning at the expense of majority of Ghanaians, looting our nation’s scarce resources for themselves and ranting “All Die Be Die” to coerce Ghanaians to vote for them.
We urge the good people of Ghana to renew the mandate of the NDC by voting massively for the NDC in election 2012 so we can continue to take our great and resourceful nation to even greater heights of achievement in all sectors.
Once again, NDC Canada congratulates your Excellency. Sunyani has made the entire NDC proud and we congratulate the organizers. We look forward to continue working closely with Your Excellency and you can count on NDC Canada’s usual support in our common cause of Ghana’s progress and contribution to bring development to our people, eradicate poverty, free Ghana of cocaine and make Ghana a Better place to live.
Accept, Your Excellency, the assurance of NDC Canada.
Signed
Charles Nkansah
