A 19-year old student of Annor Adjaye Senior High School in the Jomoro District, Miss Margaret Ewuah was found dead at Ezinleibo seashore, near Half Assini, the father of the deceased, Mr Bogolo Awuah told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Egbazo at the weekend.
He said his daughter had been with him at Egbazo since school vacation and only left home on last Thursday August 4th to visit her grandmother at Kadenla-Suazo only to hear of her death at Ezinleibo seashore.
Mr Awuah said some fishermen at Ezinleibo spotted the deceased lying naked at the seashore and raised an alarm.
He said a report was made to the police and after which the body was identified.
The Jomoro District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP John Ferguson Dzineku confirmed the incident to the GNA at Half Assini.
He said due to the decomposing state of the corpse, the medical team could not conduct post mortem and subsequently released it to the family for burial.
