There is heavy police presence in Bolgatanga following clashes between residents of two communities in the area on Sunday.
The clash between some residents of Sabun Zongo and Dagew was provoked by the erection of a store on a disputed parcel of land.
Police say five injured persons have been treated and discharged while another is still on admission at the hospital.
Public Relations Officer of the Upper East Police Command, Chief Inspector Thomas Agbanyo told Joy News they police will ensure that the attacks do not occur the second time.
