Two of Ghana’s gospel greats, Stella Aba Seal and Rev. Mary Ghansah, have promised patrons a night of revival at Adom Praiz 2011.
The two are on the bill of what organizers have dubbed the biggest gospel concert in the country today; Adom Praiz 2011, which will come off Saturday, August 27 at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre.
The show, which will be headlined by legendary praise and worship leader, Dr Ron Kenoly will also feature local artistes like Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Soul Winners, Cecilia Marfo, Nii Okai, Cindy Thompson, and Philipa Baafi.
In the studios of Adom FM where they appeared on the morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Stella Seal and Rev. Mary Ghansah revealed their fervent preparations for the show on Saturday declaring that a wind of revival would blow through the Dome and set people free.
“Every wall of Jericho in people’s lives shall crumble down on 27th because the Presence of God will come in the form of healing, peace; all debts will be paid for in Jesus name and you shall go home blessed,” they added.
The two singers, looking as beautiful and regal as ever, expressed joy at performing alongside the acclaimed Dr Ron Kenoly whose songs they said had inspired their careers as musicians.
It was all excitement as songs of the two like Onyame Nnae, Ontonko, Oye Onyame were played and they sang in harmony, with Rev Mary Ghansah strumming away at her guitar while studio guests and some staff of Adom FM who were drawn by the voices to the studio, applauded in admiration.
Rev. Mary Ghansah and Stella Seal, who promised to deliver more than a 100 percent on stage come Saturday, urged everyone to be part of the event and gain a whole new experience. “The money meant for the funeral cloth should be used to buy tickets, all plans and activities must be postponed in order to make time to lift the name of God and it will yield more benefits.”
Some listeners who called into the show expressed delight at the show of the two on-air and promised to make it to the Dome.
Tickets for Adom Praiz are on sale at Adom FM, Joy FM and selected Total filling stations; Sakumono, 37, Legon, Pigfarm Junction, Mallam Junction, Apenkwa, Obetsebi Lamptey, Tema Motorway Ring Road and North Kaneshie Bonjour shops, Busy Internet, Quickfon at Circle and Jane Ann Supermarket.
